Hello,
I have two network and want to build bonding.I can create bonding success.But my two network card can't sync on boot.So,I need disabled autoneg function on network card.
I know can add other autoneg off to network card option.But I can't set on phy network card when I create bonding.
Even I force add eth0 or eth1 and set to maunal and set autoneg off on option.This set can't write to /etc/network/interfaces this file.
I can direct edit this file and set it.But my settings will clean if I use webgui to change any network card setup.Could you know my mean?
I can't set autoneg off if I build bonding network.

You can set extra options for the nic in the webui, down bottom after DNS. Those are ethtool extra options so you can probably set the autoneg there.

I know it's can set ethtool option.
I want set bonding.So I will delete all nic network settings and create new bonding.If I haven't delete all nic network.I can't found all nic network card when I create bonding.
So, I can't set ethtool to nic network card. -

I am not sure...because i don't use bond interfaces
,but ethtool is only capable of setting physical links, that leaves out interfaces like tap, tunand I assume bond also.edit: ethtool settings over bond link should decent to each slave interface -

Hello
I have P5B deluxe motherboard.It's have onboard two nic network card.I installed OMV 2.0.13 version and use two nic connect to zyxel GS1920 switch.
I set these two nic network cards bond0 and use mode 4.This switch support LACP.All setup is normal finish.
But it's will failed when I reboot this server.Because these two nic networks can't startup together.The switch will block one network card connect (maybe startup too slow).
If I can set this network card to autoneg off and bonding it.The switch will normal run.
I only manually edit /etc/network/interfaces and add "autoneg off" on nic card in this time.And it's manually add settings will clean when I reboot system or restart networking service.
So,I hope webui can setup nic option and bonding all nic.Thanks a lot. -

If you need to customize your network setup in a way OMV can't handle it take a look at this
Customize /etc/network/interfaces the OMV way [>= 1.11]
That will avoid any overwriting by the webUI

What's script name?
Go to the folder and examine the default ones there...
You have to create the script an add it there, like the sample provided. You need debian linux network type settings that then will be piped to /etc/network/interfaces.
