EONNAS 850 Installation

I got a EONNAS 850 cheap on ebay and decided i wanted to install Openmediavault on it. After a bit tweaking (moving sas cables for extra space to install 3.5 HDD, removing 2GB USB DOM, BIOS update etc) i was able to install Openmediavault. However whenever my system tries to boot i get the below error.

I can install and boot Debian 7 without errors so its seems Openmediavault doesn't like the Fintek CIR

Try and install backport kernel 3.16
In the guide section use the debootstrap tutorial on reference how to it without booting omv.

I was able to disable the device in the BIOS to get openmediavault up and running
