Welcome
I am writing in such a case. Not so long ago I owned US and Zyxel NSA-310.
However, it began running out of space on one disk and I started to look for a device equipped with two drive bays.
I decided, however, to independently perform NAS on the motherboard Asrock Q1900-ITX. On it is implemented quad-core processor Celeron 4 x 2.42 GHz. The motherboard has four SATA ports.
I would like to install OpenMediaVault 1.9 and KODI, so that the
device has also become a HTPC computer, which via HDMI I can connect my
TV.
OMV system works without any problems.
The problem comes when I want to install KODI (Kodi (formerly XBMC) for OMV).
I have a problem with the graphics card driver.
After running the commands contained in the manual is installed X.org X Server 1.12.4 (2012-08-27). On it is a problem with the detection of the video card. I think that it does not support. The card is Intel's 7th generation.
In the file (/etc/apt/sources.list) I added entries versions of the SID, then repeated all the instructions again.
After the operation was installed on the X.org X Server version 1.17.7 and the card has been detected. For this test, I installed the XFCE environment that started smoothly.
However, there is a problem with entering the OMV configuration page. The error "403 Forbidden nginx."
During the reinstallation OMV according to the instructions - http://forums.openmediavault.org/index. ... -x-Wheezy / I have errors.
After this command:
apt-get install openmediavault
message appears:
openmediavault: requires PHP5-pam but will not be installed
requires proftpd-mod-vroot but will not be installed
requires pphp5-proctitle but will not be installed
In the logs I found information that during the update packages, php5-pam has been uninstalled. Unfortunately I can not install it again.
Please help me in solving this problem.
I would add that I installed Xubuntu 14.04, installed KODI and OMV
leeching in VirtualBox and this setup works, but I would like to OMV was
installed directly on the hardware. Additionally, I would have to create virtual disks.
