no one interested in Alfresco? It's a full featured CMS and it has a Community Edition. A plugin for OMV would be a great addition

Can the Transmission plugin for PowerPC arch be added to the repo's?
-
Patience I will start adding them soon.
-
atience I will start adding them soon.
Any chance a column can be added to the plugins page so we know when that particular item was changed last??
example, if I look in there today, there is nginx (websites) 1.1 (I believe), and nginx plugin 2.0.2.. both do the same thing, one is newer, but which ?
there should be some sort of indicator, like "New" or an "Updated Date" at least. - THere is no way I would remember if my sabnzbd was 2.0.3 or 2.0.2 last time I looked at it..
-
That would have to be changed in core OMV. Volker might be able show what version is installed and what version is available. But if there is a newer package available and you haven't installed it, it will show up in the Updates tab.
websites and nginx are a bad example. The version of websites is irrelevant since it is just a dummy package for the nginx plugin.

I don't have any time for plugins right now. Probably not something I would use either. Sorry.

Hello,
now that Virtualbox 5.0 and Phpvirtualbox 5.0 as well are out it would be great to have a plugin for them. It is already in the Github repository, but not available as a *.deb file (still stuck at 4.3).

@ryecoaaron
- That is a really good script you have made there. I just used it and it ran flawless. -
I think if he can make plugins a script is not hard.
-
Until we figure out a solution to purging 4.3 and a few other files before installing 5.0, I won't put the plugin in the repo. For now, you can use this script to install it.
Thanks for your answer, I think I can wait until then.

Hello everyone, I see that an owncloud alternative is on the top of the list - have you guys considered pyd.io ? Looks solid to me.
Thank you very much

Seconded for pyd.io. I was planning on digging into that myself once I finish up some other projects.

I´m interested in a plugin for steamcmd (http://www.steampowered.com) - would be fun to be able to run and configure steam gameservers. I reckon it would be possible, as it´s very easy to get steamcnd to run on an openmediavault box. I just have no clue on pluginwriting.

Plugin for HDHOMERUN DVR. They said no one here has requested it.

EncFS support would be great. I just got it going to encrypt my backups while also allowing them to be uploaded to the cloud in reasonable ways. It seems like it'd be fairly easy to do, you'd need to ask the user the following things:
- Source file system.
- Mode (Custom, Default, or Paranoid)
- Custom has a few more options like Cipher, Cipher Key Size, FS Block Size, FS Encoding, FS Initialization Vector Chaining, Per-File Initialization Vectors, External IV Chaining and Block Mac Headers
- Location of metadata file (advanced), possibly with the option to download it and not keep it on the disk, requiring an upload when it's mounted.

Is anything planned for duplicity ? http://duplicity.nongnu.org/
Backblaze announced a few days ago a S3-like service with low low pricing (https://www.backblaze.com/b2/cloud-storage.html); I might get into backing my data there as soon as duplicity starts offering it as a storage backend.
A plugin would be great to check on existing backup status, add some, etc.
Alternatively, what could be used / already exists for off-site, compressed, incremental and encrypted backups ?
Thanks a lot

That is the best pricing I have seen with something that looks like it would work well for a plugin.
