Try opening your browser in Privacy/Incognito mode, and then try to log into the webUI... if it works (and it probably will).. it's just a cache issue, and clearing your cache will likely fix the problem.

Is it the first time you try logging into web interface?
If so, it's not your root password that is required, but the combo : admin/openmediavault

You get an error if it's an incorrect username/password.... I bet his OS disk is full.
I tried couple times and everything was ok with my password which i set up. Right now, if i fill in default pass with user name: admin then it said wrong username/password. Only when i use my pass then it will reload

Your OS drive is full. Are you using rsync or something?
I just backup files to that drive. Right now i have 12GB empty place:) And login still doesm't work...
