There was an svn plugin for OMV 0.4 but it hasn't been ported to OMV 0.5 or 1.x. Unfortunately, I don't know of anyone with plans to port either.
OK, thanks for that information. So I'll try install it manually...
Be careful. subversion uses apache in most howtos and this may cause problems with nginx that is serving OMV's web interface.
Thanks for that hint, I now use it with svnserve
IS there a chance to use a git server, or is there already a plugin for a git?
There is a plugin for git and subversion but they have not been ported to current version of OMV yet.
I would look into using the docker plugin for an svn or git server.
THX to you both. I will take a look at, once my RAID-problem is gone
Hello deeprain, I'm actually using Gitlab https://gitlab.com/ on my NAS. Its very easy to install, configure and to use with some nice additional features.

for this answer. Do you have Docker installed or how is your
configuration? I think gitlab uses apache. Or am I thinking wrong?!
No, I don't have Docker installed. Gitlab contains everything which is needed to run it (a Webserver, a PostgresSQL DB, ...). I think they also use nginx. The only thing, which I configured was, on which port it should listen.
But you also could configure it, that it uses the nginx already installed (https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/…ter/doc/settings/nginx.md) and for example using a MySQL DB or something like that.
