Hello,
I have a little problem:
I have OMV version 0.5.57 and by my mistake I installed OMV-extras plugin version 1.0.7 (through web upload option)
How can I remove it to install proper version: 0.6.22.1
Thanks for any help.

I think this is a bit easier:
apt-get clean
-
Neither one remove files from /var/cache/openmediavault/archives/ which is where the uploaded packages are stored.
Just do this and then click on the apt clean button in omv-extras:
-
In menu it still says: 1.0.7 but in plugins page it shows 0.6.22.1
It works OK.
Thanks for help.
PS. Is there any chance to try OMV 1.0 Beta?
(If it will be possibility to upgrade it to final release)
My OMV setup is on two machines - one test and one "production" -
The new ISOs will be out later today or tomorrow.
-
They will be available Tomorrow on Sourceforge. A link to them will be available on http://openmediavault.org
Greetings

Hello,
I've got the same problem.
I did what's suggested above.
When I try to install via ssh I get an Error saying "Paket lsb-release not installed".
After refreshing the Web GUI I've got that OMV-Extras.org - Button but if I klick on it I get an Error saying "Failed to get configuration (xpath=)"
Details:
Fehler #3003:

The OMV-Extras-Menus open but everytime I get that Error. -
Try:
apt-get -f install -
Thank you for your reply.
I get the same Error
I'll try it again after a reboot. -
Problem is still the same after reboot. Tried both ways to install, Web-GUI and ssh.
Any ideas?

Tried this before but apt-get says that the package lsb-release is not available.
-
Do you have linuxmint repos in your sources?
-
I don't think so. I just installed OMV one week ago from the sardaukar .iso and didn't install anything else.
When I try to install via apt-get (I saw this post OMV1 Easy install of OMV Extras and tried to change it to sardaukar)
I get an Error saying " Following packages have unfulfilled dependencies openmediavault-omvextrasorg : depends on lsb-release but is not installable
E: damaged packages"
(translated from german) -
lsb-release is in the standard debian repos. What is the output of:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/* -
I've now updated to 1.0
Coderoot@openmediavault:~# cat /etc/apt/sources.list deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.0 _Squeeze_ - Official Snapshot i386 LIVE/INSTALL Binary 20140520-19:39]/ wheezy main non-free

Your sources.list is relying on the cdrom only with no network mirrors. The system will never upgrade. My sources will work even though the mirrors may not be the closest.
nano /etc/apt/sources.list
Codedeb http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ wheezy main non-free deb-src http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ wheezy main deb http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main deb-src http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main deb http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ wheezy-updates main deb-src http://debian.mirrors.tds.net/debian/ wheezy-updates main
ctrl-o to save, ctrl-x to exit
apt-get update -
Volker should make sure, that the updater-script removes all cd-rom stuff from the sources.list
^^^ wasn't his fixed before? -
It does remove cdrom stuff when you update to a new version of omv but he can't update without network mirrors.
