Okay, try to purge the OMV installation and then install again via
apt-get purge --remove openmediavault
apt-get install openmediavault
Again, please post the output (in a code box )

you need to comment out the start command in /etc/init.d/tftpd-hpa (see http://phpbb.openmediavault.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=481)
this will get you past this error but then (and Im assuming you are trying to upgrade to version 1) you will get a NGINEX error complaining about IPV6 modules.
You will then be where I am.
so Im currently back with the UDOO image file which is version 0.4 and none of the add-ons work

What i can do to fix it?
Anyone can help me?
Hello,
I am in the same situation: impossible to install OMV 1.0 on my udoo quad.
Mostly it is due by the no support of ipv6, I think also... But I am not sure.
If this hypothesis is true, I searched how find a workaround this issue.
So I saw the last kernel and there are more modules added and I checked in details : there is ipv6 module since the kernel v131
http://download.udoo.org/files…Kernel/release_note_k.txt
So I am trying to build a new image with Debian wheezy minimal + kernel v132 + uboot v119.
To do it, I follow this wiki :
http://elinux.org/UDOO_Install…trap#Post_install_changes
The image is done just now and I do no test currently.
I will let you know if it works better or not.
Hello,
@sebojolais how are your tests going? Is it working? In case it would be great that you would post a guide here or maybe in the UDOO forum.
I've created a working version of OMV 0.4.17 with FUSE module (so my NTFS drive is now working) on my UDOO starting from this image http://sourceforge.net/projects/minimaldeb/files/Open Media Vault Udoo/Quad/ with no FUSE module and using this guide: http://joshua.solanes.us/opera…ustom-kernel-on-the-udoo/. But I was wondering if it is possible to have an updated version of OMV working on UDOO board and then I found your post.
Thank you.
Hi!
After a day of investigation I've found a way to install OVM 1.0.32 on UDOO, I've prepared a detailed guide here: http://www.udoo.org/forum/how-…t-from-scratch-t1964.html
It seems to work!!!
Ciao!
