Does OMV supports energy saving (alternative CPU clock[like speedstep..or etc.])

  • Sorry for bad English grammer.
I'm South Korean. I'm not inborn English user.

    Question:
Does OMV supports eco saving(alternative cpu clock)?
In windows, CPU clock is alternative by workload of system. (You can see this in windows 8,8.1,10's Task manager.)

    Does OMV supports this?
Or OMV is just make cpu work highest clock everytime?

I want that faction because South Korea's electricity bills(for houses)are very expensive. Because South Korea is developing country...(South Korea's GNI[national income]per 1 person is about 29700$ [USA is 55000$]) But server must be online at 12~24 Hour...

P.S.If you use more then 500KWh/month in South Korea..... the electricity bill...is........Ka- Boom!!! (It can be more then 300~500 USD dollers...)

  • it's a lot up to the kernel. I suggest you to install the latest kernel (4.7.2).
