Auto shutdown

  • Hi

I cant seem to figure out what I am doing wrong.

    3.0.29 Erasmus. MB: MSI A88XM-E35 V2, Socket FM2+

On motherbord I have enabled wake on lan, and set it to wake from pc not bios.

My pc dosent shut down, and the logs says that it is starting script but that I have one active process in tftp, but I dont have any tftp service enabled or running?

I dont what to write in here but I can answer all your questions if I can find the answer in the server.
I have attached my log from plugin.

PS: My test pc i disconnected when I test, so it dosent trigger the NAS.

    Hope someone can guide me.

    Thanks :)

OMV 3.x didn't disable tftp on installation until just recently. I would enable tftp and then disable it. Hopefully that will fix it.

Try clearing the browser cache. Otherwise, try:

    omv-mkconf nginx
    omv-mkconf php5fpm
    systemctl restart nginx
    systemctl restart php5-fpm

  • I have now tryed that, I dont have a backup, so cant do that. The other things in there dosent help, unless you mean I should uploade the firstaid log?

If it helps: It woks ok to reboot and shut down from ssh.

    Thx

You don't have a backup so you can't try the command as root omv-firstaid? Not sure what you you are asking.

  • I dont know what you want me to do in omv-firstaid.

1: configure network interface ( No need)
    2: configure webgui (No need)
3: change web gui pass (No need)
4: restore conf backup. (Dont have any)
5: Fix RDR database (All RRD database files are valid. Action failed -- Other action already in progress -- please try again later)
6: Submit dianostic report to admin

Since it seems your webgui is not working, configuring the webgui (#2) is something I would try :) Otherwise, after reading another thread, Volker is working on something that may fix this with an update but I don't know that for sure.

It also re-writes configs. That is why it works sometimes. Not sure what else to try at this point. I would wait for the next release (3.0.30?) or try uninstalling autoshutdown.

The backport kernel shouldn't change anything with the web interface. I think that is just a coincidence or something broken already that you didn't run into until after reboot.
