strange behaviour after more than one year running OMV ...
After a reboot I couldn't reach my smb-shares and also mysql didn't start.
Server was shown and share was visible in explorer.
So i searched the log.
root@mynas:~# cat /var/log/syslog | grep aufs
Jan 28 10:12:03 mynas kernel: [ 9.755305] aufs: module is from the staging directory, the quality is unknown, you have been warned.
Jan 28 10:12:03 mynas kernel: [ 9.757667] aufs 3.2.x-debian
Jan 28 10:12:03 mynas kernel: [ 9.758128] aufs au_opts_parse:1133:mount[1457]: unknown option create=
and
root@mynas:~# cat /var/log/syslog.1 | grep mysql
Jan 28 10:12:04 mynas /etc/init.d/mysql[2533]: ERROR: The partition with /media/463c78ae-810c-4650-9dd2-58b35b0042b4/mysql/ is too full!
/media/463c78ae-810c-4650-9dd2-58b35b0042b4 was the path, where to mount the aufs pool
and it was empty
snapraid is running fine and also /media/pool is ok
only problem: aufs can't mount it to the path, if i'm right ...
I was able to solve this using this way:
- re-installing aufs-plugin
- creating new pool
- creating the corresponding media-folder manually with the new fstab-entry
- reboot
- removing/commenting old aufs-entries from /etc/openmediavault/config.xml
- editing the shares (switching to the new pool)
- apply settings
Maybe there was an easier way to fix this?
I can't find where to edit the aufs-create-options...
If i had found them, it could have been much easier
