I switched from FreeNAS to OMV about 2 months back and the transition has been pretty smooth. Got Plex up and running, VPN is working, file access via SMB/CIFS appears to working fine.
So because I have a 4 disk raid setup I need to backup the important files (photos) for obvious reasons.
I have installed the USB Backup plugin and setup the backup routine for each of the folders I want backed up to the Ext USB disk. When I first tried a few weeks back it partially worked but didn't transfer all the files, then I did an update via the Web Gui and now I'm not getting any file transfer? I reformatted the Ext HDD and deleted the previous job lists and created a new one using the new disk ID but still no file transfers.
If I try to Run the job from the Web Gui it says the disk is not mounted ( which I understand the auto backup routine mounts and then unmount at completion but the manual Run doesn't mount the disk?)
The important files are all backed up manually for the time being.
The rsync log has an error which has me stumped: 3rd line down
